The First Seed to Start

This is the Blue Poppy, Meconopsis betonicifolia and grows like a weed in Scotland and Alaska. Our little company started about 40 seeds today. The seeds have been frozen in our freezer since November. Here is what it will look like if it germinates which will take about 6 weeks. I am starting other poppies today because poppies germinate more readily in colder temperatures.
